Released in 1996, this is the only album produced by the Shuffle Demons electric band which was in existence for only a brief period in the mid 90's.

Liner notes: The Demons, who started on the streets of Toronto over 12 years ago as a raucous horn and drum ensemble, have since evolved into an extremely polished, exquisitely grovvy group!

One of the biggest changes to the sound of the Demons has been the addition of guitarist and vocalist Eric St-Laurent. Eric has added rock and hard rock influences and propels the band forward with his perpetual groove. He has also added a second vocal presence, rapping his tune "Tolerence" en français.

Having recently discovered the sampler, saxophonist, vocalist and Demon founder Richard Underhill has added exotic textures and ambient groove enhancement to the new, "phatter" Demon sound. He has also beefed up the texture of his now lone saxophone with the addition of a sax harmonizer and wahwah.

Bassist Mike Milligan and drummer Farras B. Smith have to be considered one of the hardest grooving rhythm sections in Canada.They combine the acid jazz textures of acoustic bass and jazz kit with a funk-hip/hop sensibility that has audiences all around the world raving.

The instruments may have changed, but the sentiment remains true to the demons tradition of improvisation and openness to influences of different musical cultures.
